it’s RAW. . . like honey
Pleasure to meet you! My name is Rachel Aston Warren, I go by RAW, and while those are my initials it’s not R-A-W; it’s raw…like honey.
I am proudly queer {my pronouns are she/they/it}, and I identify as a femme dyke. I’m open and outspoken about being pansexual, as well as about living with manic-depression/bipolar disorder. In addition to queer & trans rights and representation, I’m very passionate about social justice, reproductive rights, sex positivity & sex education, and mental health advocacy.
Raised primarily in the midwest, I currently live in Austin, which is the unceded land of the Comanche, Lipan Apache, Tonkawa, and Jumanos peoples, and others whose names we may or may not know. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Theatre and Dance ~ emphasis in Playwriting & Directing, and a minor in Italian. All four of my self-published books can be found online and at the Perry Castañeda Library and Ana Sisnett Library on UT campus.
At the end of 2022 I started a queer burlesque troupe, ErotiQueer BurlesQue, for which I am co-founder and front of house producer. I am also a dancer in the troupe, performing as Rebel Raspberry when on the burlesque stage.
